All loads here must be ratchet strapped now by law , ropes are not permitted which is another law enforced upon us without being thought through. The knot you refer to is called a dolly and they are seldom used because nearly everythings on curtainsiders now. We would sheet (tarp) a load and then rope the load and sheet to secure everything . It was an artform when loading bales of wool which i was lucky enough to have missed out on , too young but that was a hard job

That is crazy how well that color freight blends in with the dirt behind your trailer. If it wasnt for the straps , at first glance it would almost look like an empty trailer. No wonder why the army dudes wear that color of camoflauge

Nah... some yahoo cut me off and brake checked me, a WSP trooper willfully misinterpreted it and hit me with some bogus violations (which I've since successfully challenged), and the insurance company basically said I had to go. TP and I separated on good terms, with an offer to reapply once I got the violations all cleared up and 90 days had passed. Truck and trailer were both temporary arrangements until they could get something nicer that was more closely aligned with the accommodations the rest of the fleet had and the open deck that I was originally hired to drive... but yeah, they were pretty great while I had them

That coyote brown is secondary to the actual multicam pattern, which is designated as "OCP" or operational camouflage pattern... ironically enough, it's more than just the Army wearing it. It's slated to be every single branch except the Marine Corps, because of course they'd land themselves an exemption

I know u were probably running i5 alot . have to be the worst drivers in the world. Ive been brake checked so many times out there. For no reason at all .
