2nd time ever using pipe stakes so I had the chain on the top, lesson learned.
This is what I use to haul pipe normally….
It’s a full pipe rack that holds the pipe.

Been a #### kicker of a week! Started Monday with a hooptie roll off truck, not worth a pic, from Moreno Valley to Vegas. Dropped tuesday. Wednesday was a yard mule from Escondido to Long Beach, fat paying gig low miles. I picked up this military trailer, dropped that in Buckey Arizona, another fat gig, light weight, low miles as well. I hit the load boards and found this mystery load coming back to so cal, that all I could get out of them was the Dems, and a “I’ll get back to you” from the broker as to what I was loading up. It payed good, so what the hell. I show up on Friday to the Nikola factory, at 0700 for a 0900 load time. Five other trucks rolled in, same story, what are we loading? Finally a rep from Nikola comes out and tells us that it’s the first batch of all electric class 8 tractors for production going to their end users. So, 0900 turned into 1200 hrs, and no load yet. They were still trying to get these trucks finished and signed off. 1200 turned into 1400hrs, then 1600hrs, and peoples tempers were starting to run thin. One guy had a reload on Saturday morning, and had to make it on time to get back east, to be with his wife having their baby. 1600hrs turned into 2100hrs by the time we were all loaded up. Good news was a had completed my 10 hr reset while waiting around and had a full clock to run 7.5 hrs to the drop off in Santa Fee Springs at Quinn. Bad news was I had been awake and on my feet since 0500. I hauled the very first truck from the plant to the end user. First in the world. The guy with the baby coming was second. I made it to Blythe, and shut it down at midnight, as to I was starting to get silly. Homeboy with the baby ran all the way there. I was able to get a grand in detention which was sweet, and all in all finished up with a $9k week on $1600 in fuel. Pretty stoked.
