Took 1 load to Newburgh this morning with an escort. Didn’t bother taking a picture cuz I was supposed do 2 more loads there. Got back to the plant at 9am only to wait for loads that never materialized. They finally pulled the plug on us at 3 so we sent the escorts home.
That’s it for me, no more work until October…yippee!

Did one leg of that trip end up at US Stone at the old airport outside Herrington by chance?

 

No, it all went to some guy's house.

 

I see @kylefitzy mentioned it already, but US Stone cuts those rocks into whatever you want. Used to pickup LTL freight out of there regularly. The airport where there plant is, is an old B-29 training grounds.

 

Could make jokes. Like “He’s been taken over by a pod” or “He’s one of the pod people now”
But I won’t do that.
