    Chains with corners is best.
    Straps with good edge protection will work but it is suggested that layers are strapped individually. (See the pipe load @AgPilot1 posted)
    Also a chain and wood header against the front of the bottom layer is recommended.

    Left home, Fort Worth, last night so I could be the first to load this morning in Odessa. Woke up at the Flying J and everything was already covered in ice. Drove 3 hours at 30 mph to get out of it.
