Easy short little run of fertilizer sameday delivery, 1 hr load (and secure/tarp) 1hr unload

 

@skallagrime I feel your pain. If I had a nickel for every time I’ve had to rearrange a load or had dunnage break…I’d have a sack full of nickels

 

4 stops to kick off tomorrow.

 

One of the easiest and cheapest loads I’ve done lol. Barely 2,000 lbs and 567 miles. Gotta love a load that’s done by hand for a good part of it lol.

I feel your pain. Took 9 hours one day to reload gas piping that was just scattered around the deck, overhanging also, so it was supposed to be oversize. I didn't have enough straps for the convoluted mess to secure it properly. They didn't have anyone to redo it, even though I managed to get an afternoon guy with the HiLo to give me a hand with heavier stuff. Since they were a regular account, I had to reload everything. The two large and long and heavy, that were hanging over both sides of the trailer making it oversize, I had the HiLo guy help me put them so the wide ends, pointed up, strapped them together to hold them up, and then moved all the other pieces closer to use the straps I had availble to secure it all. 9 hours later I shutdown and slept it off. Next day I told dispatch, next time it sits here and they can pound sand. I had to take breaks because of the Oklahoma summer heat, and that's why it took 9 hours.

Almlost forgot. The guys that did it were new. Hopefully they fired the dummies.

 

Dressed for the -5° this morning and they let me load and tarp inside. Drove 70 miles and ripped it all off, at least it was up to 5° when I unloaded.

 

There's a bad influence around this joint...I wonder who? LOL
