    Hey,

Here's my load of strapped beams, LOL. I just said F-it and got my ladder and strap pole out and went to hell strapping the SOB. But, this pic and yours are entirely different than what was posted and what I'm referring too as far as guys using straps or chains on beams... These little dinky beams that are stack several layers and several different lengths/sizes are better with straps. IMO

The big boy beams in the picture that Oxbow posted need chains...

I know you're north of Binghamton but did you ever haul steel out of CANRON back years ago in Conklin NY?

Was at General Steel Fabricators from ‘84 to ‘04 then at STS Steel ‘05 to ‘18
GSF closed their doors unfortunately, would’ve loved to stay there longer… union shop with an ironworkers pension…

Been browsing this thread past few days. I used to haul flatbed a few years ago and now doing dry van. I finally bought a flatbed yesterday and picking it up this coming Friday and I’m so excited. All I have ran was I-10 Houston to Los Angeles and back for years so now I’m actually nervous to get back into flatbed dealing with whole new lanes to see what’s profitable. I haven’t seen snow in forever. Looks like Atlanta, Chicago, PA area seems higher rates but I only glanced a little here and there.

Thanks to all who contribute to this thread so may I never end up in the hall of fails thread.
