Yep I'll consider that next time when I'm back there stepping in dog crap while kicking the garbage and piss bottles out of the way. In the mean time I'll back up so I'm not sticking out 12' further than the truck right next to me and exposing the hood of my new truck to the parking lot racers.

    Something to consider.

It's quite clear you either don't like the way I drive, the things I do or just don't like me in general and quite frankly I don't care.

Curbs are self explanatory as are light posts and everything else that gets run over in a truck stop parking lot. If you don't like me backing up on your grass go tell the manager, call the 800 number on the door of my truck, call 911, take pictures and flame me on here. Again, I don't care.

What I do care about is this truck is the income for my family, pays my mortgage, puts food on my table and pays for my hobbies, our vacations, my kids college bills and so on. Unfortunately I do not work for a mega carrier and we don't have a yard full of empty trucks so when bubba comes racing through the lot and tears the hood off my truck I wind up loosing a week or more of work and income waiting on it to be repaired. Therefore since I care about my truck and subsequently the income it provides my family I will when necessary back over a curb to provide less of a target for some big rig Jimmy Johnson wanna be that didn't see the big yellow post he ran over coming into the lot.

And just to be very clear, I don't arbitrarily just back over curbs but when I'm pulling a trailer that's 56' long with the axles clear at the back and I park in a normal spot my cab sticks out at least 12' further than the truck next to me with a 53' trailer I will do what I can to protect both my truck and load. Yes I could go park along the curb where it said NO PARKING but someone would have been upset about that then when TanTara pulled in with his 110' trailer he would have had nowhere to park but at least you would have been able to walk your dog in the spot where I would have been parked.......that is till someone with a 53' box with a trailer tail backed in and hung over all the way to the fence blocking your path.

If you don't like me, the way I chose to drive or whatever then just ignore me but continuing this argument over a patch of grass is going to go nowhere in a hurry.

Well the last 3 days have been interesting. Not the loads but where I delivered. I went to a place that most trucks do not get to go as it is restricted to commercial truck traffic. Here are a few photos.
