last i heard there was only 17 doing the carb deal the same way, I am sure they are 17 of those 25, not sure what the other eight are doing differently?
both my trucks have passed emissions tests with zero issue. For me to replace them with brand new equipment, essentially with no environmental gain, and realistically, probably a negative as a new truck Being produced in and of itself uses a lot more natural resources and fossil fuels than continued use of one that has been operating for coming on 30 years
Just a frustrating spot to be in.
I’m gettin ####ed over here, and I’m not in a good position to #### them back.singlescrewshaker, Kyle G., IH9300SBA and 6 others Thank this. -
That was the exact same feeling I had. I stressed over it for quite some time. I even went over 8 months passed the due date only cuz I went to DMV to renewal 4 months early and they excepted it. Anyways…… I was very very fortunate that I came across a deal I couldn’t refuse, thanks to my son finding the compliant truck I have now. I made an offer of $22,500 and it was excepted. The truck for that year(2014, 13 speed, ISX15) was going for about $70K at that time and climbing. Hope it works out for you.singlescrewshaker, Geronimo17, JonJon78 and 6 others Thank this.

For some of us in states that aren't playing along (yet), this will flood our market with non-compliant trucks again!singlescrewshaker, Kyle G., RGN and 7 others Thank this.

I see non compliant trucks here in Commiefornia all the time. There’re loopholes and individuals are taking advantage of them illegally. It’s has to do with mileage reported I believe and they are always dodging the coops and there surroundings for those surprise set up randomly. If they was to get caught, I’m sure they would get audited and that’s were they would get caught, but I’m guessing. So who knows.singlescrewshaker, Kyle G., Ruthless and 4 others Thank this.

I mention this all the time too, producing ANYTHING NEW, uses much more resources than continuing to utilize what has already been built. But as you well know, common sense is not the main objective to these feel good regulations being forced upon us.singlescrewshaker, DeereRunner97, Nostalgic and 7 others Thank this.
