Somehow ended up in Texas, forklift and empty skids and a crate going down. Will have a large printer on one of the skids heading back north to Chicagoland.

Rate con said 6,000 lbs and 8 pallets… 5 hours later this is the fiasco I ended up with. Thankfully broker did pay extra. I did not like how they loaded this. I used 18 straps and even 2 chains in the front.

Here’s another load that made me paranoid as hell. Shipper kept checking my straps so they weren’t too tight to bend the steel. I told him they will bend a lot more on the side of the interstate.

Thought I’d post this as some might find the idea genius. This shipper wanted to use their edge protectors and it turns out they simply screwed in 36” wood planks to a regular 12” edge protector. I never thought of this idea…
