He's got a good plan though. I'm doing the same. Heading for SC away from the cold and Ice. Got a call last night on my way out of town that they might have a pickup for me next Thursday in Charlotte after I deliver on Monday.

"OH NO. I guess I'll just have to stay down here by the ocean where it's warm for a couple days."

Haven’t worked in a month…I’m supposed to be retired remember?
I was offered a day during Christmas week but we had company so I declined.
Should be something coming up in a week or two…

I figured you was laying low due to the holidays, and you say retired ? That’s only a word for a few of us hardcore truckers. Seems the ones that keep enjoying it go until they yank our chauffeur license away. . Glad to see your still with us.
