49 CFR 393.110(b) ....which is in addition to the other additional cargo specific securement regulations that come later....essentially what we call the penalty strap.

 

So if those crates on the front of the trailer are less than 1100 pounds altogether, then the one strap would be legal. Correct?

(I mean I'd still use two, but just for the sake of argument...)
