You know like Texas what's a matter,

 

Holiday weekend everything closed on monday so i get to sit in truckstop for 3 days..kinda lame if u ask me.
Id rather go home if im gonna sit around. But i guess thats a foreign concept at this company .. Ill never forget when i applied for the job we were supposed to get home every weekend or every other at most... Ive been home for 2 full days in the last 3 and a half months.. maybe half a dozen this entire years. About at my wits end with their crap

 

Where are you Gonna be in Texas?

 

Delivery in houston but dont like parking there since they like to steal all ur equipment off the truck while ur sleeping.. ill probably find somewhere along i-45 north of the city to hang out. Maybe get a hotel room

 

What part of the country do you live in? Depending on the carrier you choose certain places you can be home daily, every couple days or almost always on the weekends depending on the freight lanes. I enjoyed flat bedding when I owned one years ago, but I wouldn’t go back from hauling cars now. I am slightly spoiled because all my terminals freight is within 500 mile radius from the house and there are multiple loads a day going to or through my home city when I want to come home. 24/7 loading and deliveries usually and we don’t do appointments to load or unload.
