Customer says load is 8ft tall. Sure is if you dont include that engine sticking out the top. Actually closer to 11ft tall. About 14'3" overall.

Automated transmission is the standard now. You want a manual transmission, it’s gonna cost you like at least 5 grand more.
The company has the cummins/eaton combination. Seems the air system in these Eaton’s need to be overhauled at around 400k. Seems the most common failure point is the internal actuator system on the clutch pack. Transmission comes out for that repair. -

Sort of. It’s not leaking, but the bottom isn’t as straight as I want it to be.

This truck has a DD16 Detroit with a Allison 7 speed auto transmission. I didn’t think it was enough gears, but I’ve been pleasantly surprised with it. It’s heavy spec because I occasionally pull tri axle trailers with it too.cke, CAXPT, ElmerFudpucker and 5 others Thank this.
