so I'm wondering how 4 Chains at 5500 equals 35000 pounds?

 

"Technically" your WLL is supposed to equal 1/2 of the gross weight of the piece. I usually meet or go over. Only thing I'd have done differently would be pull half your binders to one side and half to the other. Not a rule or anything. Just something I like to do

 

I see now. but not worrying about it coming though the cab is worth it when I stand on the brakes. I will use More racks next time.

 

Which coil racks do you have? these are found a lot at truck stops. Or the second one is able to adjust your dunage at an angle and adjust for smaller to larger coils.

I have the first ones. I also beviled the oak 4x4s.
