He normally does. You know how that goes......

Nothing like stripping down to dive for a gun. All part of the fun.

Loaded up on this Canadian Thanksgiving with this small lightweight load, going 1,000 miles north-west. (Couple bundles of pipe under the tarp).

Frost on the vehicles this morning in SW Ontario for the first time I've seen this season! Worse where I'm headed I'm sure.

No because we don't run tire chains in Ontario and if I really want a set it'll be me forking over the money to buy them... 1,000 north west will still be in Ontario too.

Had a guy who carried one tire chain. It ended up not helping him whatsoever.

Oh, ok. Didn't know if you guys have the funny rules like some of the States. That during certain times of the year you had to carry them or not...

Fellas, I hope you will allow me a moment here in the post photo's thread even though my flatbed is behind me and not in the picture.

Sometimes we wonder why we make so many sacrifices to be out here on the farm. And make sacrifices to have horses and livestock.

Then I snap a picture of the kid, and it seems this is worth any sacrifice.

Or to put a finer point on it, I'm about the luckiest truck driver and farmer in the world.

    But wait a minute...

... there's only one tie down on that horse and I'm sure it isn't rated for the weight.

I would have thrown in a couple of chains and maybe a cinch wrap or two.

    Just sayin'...;)
