Yea we know. Boss didn't listen when 10 people told him not to touch it. He bought it anyways and now that all the problems have started they can't give it away. Same problems you've mentioned. It won't regen properly. It's been to multiple shops already and it's just garbage. We're kinda hoping it might just burn to the ground one night so at least the insurance would buy it.

 

I dont remember what the shop said the last time we saw it, but the estimate was 10k boss man said dont touch it, we will hire a hook to pick it up and ship it to the block...

 

Yea that's about what we were quoted. Tried to trade it in on a new truck order and got an offer of $10k on trade. The bed on it is only a year old and cost more than that.

 

Jeez they screwed the pooch that year! Ours had 100k on the od. We took a huge hit, (side note, company swiched to lease outs rather than buys after that)

 

They gave up and just decided to keep running it for now until it dies. It's not worth anything to sell so might as well make some money with it. We just got a new Pete 348 that will be going into use as our main OTR stakebed.

 

Maybe you could get a chunk back at ritche or something? Someone with a good power plant could do a swap out?

Well successfully delivered the second load, imagine that a truck without NHS treatment makes it both times without any mechanical issues
