Just getting out of IA before weather got any worse.

Weather forcast is supposed to be in the single digits or negative for the next few days here along with the 8" of snow that arrived Sunday. So I'm heading south for the next week+ and will miss it.

3 stops, Texas, Louisana, Alabama. Then chill for the weekend somewhere and reload somewhere in North Carolina next Tuesday coming back home for one of our local customers.

So yesterday as I am freezing my ### off starting up another cold truck, doing drive aways (customer contracts us to drive their truck and load from point A to point B), I get a call from dispatch. "Would you rather run local loads in OKC tomorrow, or pick up a load and run it to Houston"?

Gee, let me think... deliver in comfortable temperatures on a high dollar load or freeze my digits on local bottom tool loads???...

Easy securement, great customer, and over $3/mile TTT. What's not to like?... of course tomorrow is another day, I need to find a load heading me back in the general direction of OKC.
