Well, it IS interesting to see what's possible.

But the guys being like, "I do this working 45 minutes a month, and then I convert it to foreign currency and crypto because I'm not an IDIOT...but keep working 68 hours per week, DRONES" are pretty obnoxious. Lol

I think it’s beneficial to everyone who comes across this type of thing. It’s only helpful to truckers as a whole to know what other segments, areas, skill sets, regions, schedules, companies, etc are paying.

And yes it does feel nice to share it. I don’t share this info with anyone in real life other than co workers and my wife. I’m sure most are that way, especially when they have that truly sweet spot gig people tend to be quiet about it. And I’m not about to go up to a random fed ex guy and ask him what he makes because I’m simply curious and like to know my options in case I ever need to move on.

but hey, if we’re measuring, I’m sure I’ll lose- but my wifes happy…

It's not a contest it simply a gauge to see what others in different segments of the same industry is making no big deal . I make a good wage while others make more some make less.

We're happy with the amount of work we do for the wage we receive.

    Good enough.

Excellent statement and I assume most of us making reasonably good money are appreciative. I feel that generally most of us have worked hard to get to the income level we receive. When I left Buster 11 years ago I did it to work less and thankfully I do. I still wanted to make a reasonable living at roughly 50 hours and 46 or so weeks a year. I no longer get a free pension and insurance, (27 years vested in Central States and the UPS Pension). I can afford my own Individual 401k and the wife gets both of us health insurance. I don’t feel it is bragging when others have the same opportunity and many are currently making way more than I do, but luckily I have lower needs than some. A debt free lifestyle doesn’t hurt either. 7B2A8EC1-FEA3-40A4-B36A-FB9996CF07B6.png 5922F04B-4466-4123-8518-58FD0D441059.png

We have a 50% turnout rate.
Half the new hires quit soon after they are trained in.
Like most places the more time and experience you get it the better your lot.
Most today want to start at the top.
