Wow. You guys had it rough back then.

 

This was just 2015 when I started. Lol

 

In 2002 I left a job at Frito Lay making $85,000 (the plant was slated to close soon) to take the Peak Season job at UPS. I started at $18.50 an hour and worked 2 months. Laid off from January 1st to June, worked June till October. Laid off till November and then was put on full time. It sucked but I didn’t want to move 250 miles to follow my old job. It all worked out in the long run.

 

I’m sure it was hard to make that decision especially with you making $85k in 2002.

I was hired on as full time last year and made union 2 months later. I’m grateful for opportunity and I’m sure I will be in even better position 10/20/30 years down the road.

 

You're gonna do just fine. Keep your head down, and work as directed.

 

We are going to need to see the finished product if you are coming in here getting getting too smart!
