Yep got tired of BS so I deleted my account. Tired of people following me and questioning.

Also tired of select union drivers bs. I almost replied to a comment today in a room full of car haulers. I bit my tongue, but it's getting more difficult.


Does anybody know how I get off the automated Kevin Moore phone calls concerning contract. He let my wife know today the votes will be counted and results updated by phone.

 

It's only the real losers who think of us as Scabs so their opinion doesn't matter. I couldn't stand those type of morons when I was a proud Teamster driver. I informed several during my Union days that a scab is someone who crossed a picket line, not someone who's company was Non Union. Very few Teamster drivers weren't non Union at some point in their career. I did work with some drivers at UPS who acted like they were born there, but most are in the ground now.

 

I'd get in touch with your former local. They'd be able to straighten out the situation I'm sure.

 

Already tried that. I know other guys that left and they got ballots but no phone calls. Wife gets the automated calls numerous times a day and not from the same number all Kevin Moore urging me to vote. It's very important. Hoping it's over once the contract passes today.

 

There were several of us biting our tongues. Funny thing is many many non union guys were once union. I usually don't let it bother me, but he had to run his fat mouth while we were all trapped together.

 

As much as I enjoyed my Union Days, I don't miss waiting on the board listening to one or two gripe about how the world is trying to get them. From all the Teamsters I know who work non union now I have heard the same thing over and over. You come in and usually you get a load going to where you want to go, you do your job and go home. I did work at a small railhead with Allied where it was a great place to work. Everyone seemed to get along and just did their jobs.

 

Which railhead was that?
