I went overkill on it, but I have 2-5/16" chains on the trailer axles and then 6-2" ratchets on the head plus 4-3/8" chains on it as well and 3-4" straps on the trailer frame. Just making sure it doesn't pass me going down the road and that California wont bother me lol

NWMAXI, jellybean and aiwiron Thank this.

Inverter or generator to run a electric impact gun and a good impact socket set for lug nuts, a small bottle jack and some wood also works to lower it down. But hey you got it covered and that keeps you rolling.

I have all that and that was my suggestion to them but they said "absolutely not" so I just let them do it their way.

Hey, you could have let all the air out of your drive and trailer tires. That would have gotten it about 6 inches lower! :biggrin_25517:

I was joking with the guy and telling him that he should be thankful I wasn't driving a different truck since I already have 22.5LP on mine

Pleasure meeting you last night SHC!
Got the tire replaced on the trailer, then put it on the dyno this morning. Found out after some running around, that Petro had mismounted the 2 new drive tires they installed and they were wobbling away at 65mph! They bought me 2 more new tires, and all feels well again. Deliver tomorrow in Tx we are told, so fingers crossed....
Be safe heading out to Ca mate.
