Make sure you have your body armor on in case one of the locals gets gacked up on gin and juice and wants to fire a few rounds from his gat. On second thought those idiots couldnt hit the broadside of a barn holding a gun sideways.

I am not one to defend brokers, but there is a grain of truth to the statement. Our rates with most customers are adjusted weekly based on the DOE Nat'l average. Over the last 7 weeks rates have dropped .07/mi. Let's pretend the broker is passing on 100% of the FSC to the truck...that would mean they would mean they would be justified in reducing the rate by .07/mi. Not .20/mi and definitely not .50/mi.

What were you doing in Dubuque? Sorry no points for seeing one of my trucks in Dubuque...kind of shooting fish in a barrel. Coincidentally, that is one of my favorite trucks.

We hauled two milk silos to a dairy in Compton about two years ago and we asked the guard if there was anywhere within walking distance to eat and he said "Yes, just make sure when the sun is down your two cracker ##### are back inside this fence". Then he gave us the menu for a pizza place that delivers and that was good enough for us.

My latest, scrap refrigeration machinery. The piece on the back was on the piece in the middle, but it wouldn't fit through the door.

When I ran tanker, it was paid as a round trip run. $1.75-$2.00 mile loaded AND empty. Not $3 up and 0 back. Plus your costs are less since you pull their trailer and they pay cargo insurance. Was just a thought

Got into Compton at 6am and then went 10 blocks away and picked up in Gardena too. This is my first shot at putting partials together but it worked out well. 24,000# and no tarps ;)
