I am having the whole under body of my pick up sprayed and the whole bottom 10 inches around the whole truck and the rockers and everything else that usually rusts out. Costly but very effective!

    SHC Thanks this.

A friend of mine had his fiberglass rear fenders sprayed with the Line X on both sides and then painted to match his truck. Looks good and more durable.

You will hate yourself when you have to work on anything under there. Just make sure that the underside is clean and DRY when they spray it on.

I had no idea that you could paint that stuff.

Yup. You can get it color matched too. Just make sure it's the spray on version and not some guy with a paint brush.

I'm just going with plain old black. I was told it stiffened up the fiberglass and helps keep it from cracking.

Its going to be just the body parts. My bed is coming off for them to do it and then I will pull the cab off eventually to. Then when I pull out the motor to put in the one I am building up right now they are going to do the engine compartment also.

    Big Don Thanks this.

I would be more worried that the added weight would cause more cracking issues. Line-X is tough but heavy.
