When in doubt hit the woods, if you get a chance go online and route out some scenic routes.

Scales are easy to go around and not get in trouble, it may take you a little longer but if you have the time try the countryside.

I used to be like you, and never wanted to leave the interstate system. But it's ok, don't be scared of the 2 lane roads, they won't kill ya.

Used to do a good bit of bootlegging loads years ago, I would come to where I knew that the interstate was off limits on weight and jump off and hit a yellow line.

Have some great places on the back roads and fuel is sometimes 20 cents a gallon less, have been known to drop a trailer and shuttle to a fuel stop to save money when it started adding up to thousands a month in savings.

Wall Mart and Sams clubs sell Rotella in 2.5 gallons jugs for less than 25 dollars, not finding those prices at a interstate truck stop either. lol

Shoot your scared of running 500lbs over weight, I used to run around at a 100k, just skip the big roads and get home, or sit for free all weekend, no way jose!

    aiwiron and Ruthless Thank this.

Calm down fellows I started moving lol. The roads isn't the issue, just putting the cost before profit. Ill end up turning 59$ profit on this load. W/e though, it's getting me home so I don't care.

    aiwiron and Logan76 Thank this.

Actually there is three or four places to park for the night out there just no food. There used to be a little restaurant in powder river that had one of the best steaks around and they brought dancing girls out of Casper on Friday and Saturday nights.

    SHC and Logan76 Thank this.
