I'll get in on this. My first Flatbed load ever. 9 Straps and 1 Chain for the load. 2 Straps holding down my lumber tarps on the front since I have nowhere else to put them. 1 final strap holding the second set of A-Frames at the front of the trailer. So 12 straps total. Only 1 of them is 4" and it's just holding down the tail on the tarp at the back of the load. All the rest are 2".
13 Crates full of glass. 6 big ones on A-Frames at the front and 7 smaller crates on the deck in back.

Alright i got ya now cluck cluck. I can see running that many when straping. I have 15 on my flat most ive ever used was 13. Had a load of drill pipe in cradles that was with my old trailer that had 13 winches. Used all straps plus 8 chains i think dont remember how many chains i had. Bet its fun throwing them straps over them tall loads in the wind lol. I carry 15 straps, 10 2 inch ratchet straps, and 9 chains and 9 lever binders. Only have 9 because my dad lost a chain at a junk yard. Some moron took the chain off for him said he put it in the headache rack and sure enough it wasnt in there. $40 for a usa chain down the drain. Probably gonna have 10 as of tomorrow got a railroad machine coming out of ks pays pretty good so i figure ill upgrade to 3/8 chain instead of 5/16 and push 32000 empty no more hauling 500lbs for free lol.
