Lol im just thinking he has 46k rears since those FLDs are light and all. Especially if those rattling fairings with 3 rolls of duct tape holding them on! Lol sorry les I have to poke fun at the fairings unless they are no more.

Depending on state, you can pretty much go to 40k on the drivers and trailer anywhere, and whatever your front axle is rated for.
SO even with a 12k front end, he can go to 92k lbs gross with a permit. East and West of Ia and Ne you can go more, which must be the case I guess.
Talking of Hybrids etc though....I saw this on my way back from doing some shopping today in Vegas:

Shhhesh I wish! heck the trailer weighs 12k.

I have a piece of paper that says I can haul it and the answer to many of your next questions, is no. Its just a regular truck with 12k steer axle and 40k drives. The trailer has the Intraax 300, which I don't really care for, but I let them talk me into it. Wish I would've just had the regular 300 suspension. The tractor isn't very light either, its a hair over 20k.

Oh yeah don't let me secret out. Everyone will be out buying gerbils and high speed chicken feed to power their trucks!
