    I guess there was a Canuck will call that broke his step deck in half right after he left JD Dubuque about a month ago. He was hauling an 850 and didn't even make it back to 52 before he broke the trailer in half.

    I doubt that! Id stop and take a picture if its worthy and then laugh because obviously a checking of the frame for cracks may have prevented that or just not having junk equipment.
    I'm still waiting for the back of the steps I pull to snap off. Kinda scary with a dozer or the like on there.

    I've seen it a couple times...never a flatbed tho, always a box. Floor usually breaks right behind landing gear.

    Yeah :ive seen vans break and one reefer but never a flat or step.
