    Well my stuff isn't nearly as exciting (or heavy ;-) ) Todays load is a shipment of Boeing 777 inlet cowlings from Wichita, KS to Everett, WA. The one at the front of the load is a single unit for a special mission aircraft that uses a smaller jet engine, the rear two are a matched set for a standard 777-300. The pieces are 3500# each (total, part and pallet) and 14' wide.

    I'm just not OCD like you :p

    pin side the rail and outside the rail makes absolutely no difference really. If someone bumps my rail and cuts my straps, we got more to worry about than the straps. Most likely at highway speeds they will have just demolished my cab and theirs.
