Wheelbase is a bit to short for a winch setup on these trucks. Im sure it could work but there would be no deck space like i like on the back. We just bought this one but it's going to a camp project so I didn't want it lol

Why did they put all the junk around the rig up so it's hard to see out the window? Looks like an airco rig up but I couldn't quite tell with the boxes around the top. It's about the right shape and style Brian uses for his chairs.

Edit: I didn't even see it was bought off the ramp in at Ritchie so you probly wouldn't kno why they put the junk around the rig up.

Nate, do you ever go over into Alberta around the Fort McMurray area to the projects going on there?

It is an airco rig up. Suprised you knew that lol. I've been around the area in fort Mac. Not a big fan of working up there.

My fleet consisted of 3 tridrives, 3 tandems, and 6 beds ranging from 340" wb to 385" wb all rigged by Airco. The other 10 winch tractors and 4 beds were rigged by different shops around up there. Winch tractors are harder to tell apart than beds but I can tell you most of the rig up shops from 03 to 10 (that's when I sold my rig moving fleets) I don't know the shops anymore. I do kno that Airco, Marcep, Lennox, ETM, and Camex are still the big players.

Just curious, my brother is an Iron worker up around that area. Not sure what site he is on though.

Why would you even need a back window to begin with???

Winching you def need one to watch the load and line. Plus watch the pressure gauge. I found mine handy for also hooking onto trailers at funny angles.

    SHC Thanks this.

Exactly what Nate said. It's really hard to keep your line straight without one. A rats next in your drum is a really good way to cut the line and drop your load or really #### up the winch. There's some trucks around without a back window but they also have a camera system set up, which is fine until it's covered with frozen mud and quits. My only complaint about a back window was in subzero temps they sure were cold to sleep against.

Why send two trucks. I will just open the trailer up a couple holes and cram them both on, it will be dark soon.
