He hit his brakes....but decided to keep riding

 

Aaand $100 "improperly parked on the highway" ticket in southern VA. Was pulled way way off on a perfect shoulder ramp spot.. One of very very few thats not all signed up. I snugged up behind one of the orange trailer signs and 3 flashing barrels guarding my tail. Youd hit the trailer before you hit me. Spot was not posted either and id been looking a long time.

"Unfortunately i had to give you a ticket."

Well, you didnt HAVE to. You chose to. This is the same area i got my only other parking ticket few yrs ago. The walmarts are posted. The rest areas are packed. lowes has steel height blockers to prevent trucks even getting in. The truckstops have people sleeping in the pumps.

Great job VA. Youve thoroughly solved the problem by reducing the number of places to park down to less than the number of trucks here every day, and making a great revenue source out of it.
