its easy to explain, yes the space under the bridge is 13'6, but as you continue forward the road rise's making the middle of the trailer hit the bottom of the bridge

Take a closer look at the background just right of center, upper edge. See the yellow crane? See the cable dangling from the crane with nothing on the end of it? The bridge support was dropped as the truck went under. One of the ground guide ropes is draped over the front right of the trailer. If I remember right this happened in Virginia about two years ago. Swift drivers run 5 to 6 MILLION MILES a day, so, sooner or later, one of us is going to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.

yeah if you look at where the trailer is sunk in, there is a very large piece of something that isn't part of the truck.

I will say though, that's a nice looking tractor :) if you want to see a sharp truck bre look through the journey of a flatbedder thread and check tom's old truck out. It's probably the nicest company truck I've seen and it's only a few pages into the thread.

The newer trucks actually have cut down sleepers so we can haul 60' material without permits. The sleepers are a lot smaller than the full size sleepers, but toms working on that from what I hear.
