Posted roads and empty weight

    Bottom line, you should fill your tanks and get a tare weight at a CAT scale. Today I picked up a load of steel pipe. They had to know PRECISELY how much I could carry.

    "47,300 lbs"... I showed the shipper my tare weight scale ticket. They were relieved that a driver had the forethought to actually have a tare weight.
