What was her rating? Days to pay? Sounds like one to steer clear of, indeed. Thanks for the report.

I did a backhaul load for GTO2000. They paid me on time. Don't depend on one broker. I have a few I use occasionally, but I work the free market to get as high a price as I can even with them. So, I recently counted over 50 brokers for whom I've done at least one load. Try to post your truck and get them calling you as much as possible, and don't be afraid to give them big numbers. If the broker thinks your price is to high ask him what's the highest he can go. Don't get hooked too early in the day. Most brokers start worrying about covering their loads in the afternoon, so that's when you will get the better paying load within a market where trucks are scarce. Where trucks are cheap, get up early and snatch from the load board fast just to get yourself away from a weak market. Post yourself to go anywhere as you can't be sure where the big paying load will take you...

Williams Trans out of Westerville OH is giving a favour by posting this cheap load out of OH to TX appox 1500 loaded miles for $2000, today on this Friday.
Contract rate calls for $2600 and Spot market rate for today hovering around $2900. Is this a good or bad broker??

Booked a load with American Trans ( Lawrenceville GA) yesterday from Dayton OH area to Worcester MA. Apperantly some kind of behind the seen activity happened and he did not even bother calling to tell me that he has cancelled the load. It was for little below the market for MA $2200. Guy said his name was Jacob
