None that come to mind, just do your due diligence. We currently work for Trimac and really like it. At some point in the future when we want to slow down we plan on driving for the entertainment industry. You have a ton of good choices from where you live. Good Luck.

In looking at Schneider, Old Dominion and Prime, they seem to do three weeks out and 5 days home. That seems standard as a team driver. That would be ok as the kids would be in college and only want us for money at that stage!!! Do you guys have homes near your terminal or somewhere else?
TequilaSunrise Thanks this. -
We have a home near our terminal. Seems like most people live within an hour or so.

Do you mind sending me a PM? I tried to message you but I don't have enough posts yet and don't want to junk up the forum for fake posts.

Hubby and I are going to run teams. Like you, we've run our own biz for a long time and we're ready to let someone else handle the headaches for a while. Team drivers are in demand. We are safer because we have the most important ppl in our lives in the truck with us. We can drive til the load gets there. We are looking at OD here in our home town, but don't plan to be home for a while, since the kids are grown and don't need us around. We are going to a school on our own, not a company school. If the company you're going with will allow it, you might even get away with taking the test on your own without school, but most insurance companies want the 140+ hours of training you get with the school. Good luck and have fun!
