Potential TMC driver

They technically are always recording but when activate go back 30 seconds are save that. I am not sure if TMC can activate it, but I know an outside company is in charge of it

 

Safety told us they are not able to look at the camera anytime they want, it has to be triggered by an event. I believe they said the video is set to him automatically.

 

If it's activated it goes right to Todd, and you can push the button and activate it your self

 

Im good with all this. Ive had the combo camera (front and driver facing) in my truck for years. Was never worried about them snooping on me. They would only check the camera if a complaint came in for wreckless driving or something to that effect. For the record, 90% of the reports by these callers were false after checking the camera anyway! Company wide.... 100+ trucks. Shows how butthurt people get when behind a slow moving vehicle, they get so pissed they feel the need to call and trash the driver. Amazing. But anyhoo, the camera was never an issue for me. Unless you text/phone while driving or do some wierd stuff in your truck, I wouldnt concern myself with it as a professional driver. Besides, it could save you from a reprimand or termination if you were in the right during an issue involving another motor vehicle.

 

Students at 44 cpm should be grossing $1200.

 

And it's very possible at tmc. I did on several checks. Of course that was back in 2014
