Any help? I run my power inverter full time to run my fridge. Problem is, i get interference n the cb because of this. Is there a filter or some other cure so i can keep my food cold and listen to everyone cuss at each other?

Inline noise filter direct from battery to your CB, and a direct ground. Will also remove the alternator noise you hear. You could just toss in a quick inline but it wouldnt be as effective

Wow. That sounds easy. Cb shop should have what i need? Just a filter on the power wire only? Thanks

Rereading your post..... youre saying bat to radio direct. Dont use the trucks wiring. Run wire for cb only. If i understand you correctly

Any CB shop can install a noise filter, or you can pick one up yourself for 25$ and run it yourself. I prefer direct connection, but you can also run off the standard truck wiring but you still have to hook the filter direct to batt if you want it to clean it up fully.

Cheap and easy. Thank you

This is the solution to your problem but it costs ten times as much as your inverter.

I'll prob just spend the 25 bucks instead

That's what most people choose to do. I like to take the expensive route

Go to a outdoor shop like an rv world..Talk to them about inverters..Truck stop ones and most auto shops n such sell cheaply made inverters..Rv shops usually sell them that dont cause whats called dirty power..
