    What policy lol, you get a small bonus if you don't idle. I idle every night in the summer if it's warm. Never had anyone say anything. In fact it's idling now.

    Then whats up with the opti-idle system? Whats that all about? I can't remember how it works.

    They haven't turned it on yet except in a few cases, and everyone that had it turned on has had it turned off to my knowledge I may be wrong on them having it turned off. They may or may not roll it out to the whole fleet. Opti-Idle uses the ambient temp. sensor and doesn't allow the truck to idle for more than a set time if the temp is in a certain range. A lot of places do 30-75/80 degrees all depends on what the company wants to set it at. It sucks, it can be bypassed, we don't use it yet/maybe ever.
