power mirror switches scenario

    It's not going to trigger anything fault light, the wiring for the power windows is not ran thru any electronic control module nor do any of them monitor it. The body controller controls the heated mirror part and its just looking at a signal from the heated mirror switch, and current to the mirrors.

    The switch is just a multi position switch, no computer, or anything.

    I don't see a reason why you can't drive it....

    What this guy needs is some old mid-90's scrapper to drive for a month or two with power nothing!

    yup, going to an older truck with manual mirrors, never had any issues with those

    problem solved for me and folks that like mirror issues while driving can enjoy

    How can the mirrors get far out of adjustment if drivers are checking mirrors as much as they should be?
