You and the driver will set up an agreed upon rate. You will have a signed rate agreement and carrier contract. You supply the trailer and or equipment to be moved. The drivers is a owner operator so he will pay for his expenses as his rate will cover him there. You may supply insurance for your property being moved just to cover your own ASSets but the driver will have cargo liability insurance and all the other pertinent insurances required to obtain his own authority. You will want to make sure he/she does have the proper authority to do the job and not a fly by night. Any other info you guys want to give him???
