For the most part he can have a real service, not a broker handle this at twice the costs unless someone is dumb enough to take it at $800.
Oh and by the way, technically that's not a power only load, that's a move a trailer load.Lepton1 Thanks this. -

Could work but only if you are allowed to haul something on this trailer. This way it would essentially be a haul and backhaul in one load.

I did a power only load that paid $900 from Dallas to just west of Wichita. Sounds good until you factor in bobtail miles. Total miles was 900, so it ended up being a buck a mile. That's a good way to loose money.
The customer was delighted with my service and asked if I wanted to do another load. I asked for double the price. They declined, saying that's all they could pay. I declined. Last I heard they are struggling to fulfill their contract. Go figure. -

$800 not bad especially if the driver can do a load out.
