OK. When you key in calibrate you want to be looking at the line on the meter that says Cal set and dial the calibration knob until the needle is in the little break in the line where the small arrow is. When you switch to swr mode it gives you a general reading. you do not want to set the needle past the Cal set mark on your meter when setting calibrate position.

Yeah I never had this problem in the old truck. Could get the needle right on the cal mark. This one though knob is turned all the way to right and gauge only goes halfway. Probably something simple I am not catching.

In reading your earlier post I thought maybe you were trying to peg the meter at calibrate which would throw everything else off thanks for the clarification
