I was going to use DOT4 on my '20 LT.
But the part guy at the dealer where I got filter for it told me not to. So what do I use?

Most trucks seem to use either Dexron 3 or engine oil. What's your owner's manual recommend?
DOT 4 brake fluid is not petroleum based. Not compatible with oil.Arctic_fox Thanks this. -

We always used ATF, or that fancy store bought P/S oil,,,that's mostly ATF,,
