I'm wondering about the power steering fluid filter, it is located in the reservoir. I wonder if they botched that up at MHC? Maybe they installed your old filter? Or you got a bad one, as I believe there is a valve in the filter, like they have on Honda oil filters.

Is it right in the middle of the reservoir? There's a clamp that goes around the whole reservoir right in the middle thst makes it look like I can split the reservoir right in half

Pull the filter out before you pour in the new power steering fluid. Sounds like the damage has already been done. The pumps are around $250, I just installed one when I replaced my air compressor here at the house. Dealer only item, at least in my case with the International.
RubyEagle Thanks this. -
Should be in there.

Looks like a small oil filter with holes in the top. Can be a real PIA to remove, I needed a lawn mower sized filter wrench, that I bought at AutoZone.

Not like mine... Hang on... I have one in the garage. 20170905 is what I have, may be an International part/filter.
