Still, practical miles have to be better'n shortest miles, like Rollover mentioned. You're right, though, about your actual driven miles aren't going to be equal to your paid miles. HHG is so bad for drivers. I got on with Swift to return to driving, they use the Rand McNally guide, and I figured it costs me around $250/month, depending. One comment about the 6% was a good average number of the miles, the work, and the money you leave on the table....it is all about paying your dues for now. Once a driver has been safe and reliable over some period of time, usually a year of work, you get to make better choices for yourself. But, a truck is a tool for making money, and a company is a tool for making profit off drivers.

Looks like more smoke and mirrors on your pay....... -
Well chalupa: I read that attached legal document once, twice & thrice and my question remains; but allow me to rephrase. Using a hypothetical situation here; Suppose I have driven 3200 miles for the week, assuming I had no out of routes incurred, You are responsible for my pay;please show me what I can expect to be paid using the following:
Hub- you will pay me for 3200 miles!
HHG (House Hold Goods)-
Practical Miles-
PC Miler-
Zip to Zip-
I.S.O miles.-

I know a company that used the average of three trips, one from each of three trucks equipped w/ hubs and driven by fellow teamsters. The hub miles for the trip was then posted and that was what that trip paid. Some old union shops had unique twists om how things got done.

What I provided is the formula for ISO calculations.
IMO take 10% of the hub and you will have your answer as 10% is prolly the worst cut you will take using any formula vs hub.....
