My heart truly breaks for you. So sorry for your loss.

It's bad enough to lose a family member but to have their belongings treated so poorly and fair you to be disrespected and disregarded is shameful!!!

I am so VERY sorry for the loss of your father (mine has been gone 3 years this october 21st) the pain is something that words just do NOT describe; and the way your dad's property was delt with is a shame. I hope you find the answers you seek and just remember there is always someone here to "listen" when you want to vent, remember or ask questions. I am sorry such a tragedy is the reason you found us, but I am glad you did!

it seems the more religious the company the more they screw over drivers..I just think they have the attitude of "I can do what ever I want this week and Sunday ill be forgiven"

very sorry to hear about your dad.i suspect they might be so cold because they might be hiding something like maybe his hos logs?something you might want to ask for, then you will see them squirm.

Hi and thanks for the info.... what are hos logs? I do have his drivers daily logs....are those the same thing? Does every trucking company have an I.R.C. or incidence response people??? because supposively this is who was first on the scene? please get back to me on these hos logs and any other things you think may be helpful. Also I'm thinking about asking for all the maintainance records that were done on his truck because not too long before he died there was something broken on his truck that he had to sit a while to have repaired. I wonder if there was faulty equipt that may have led to his demise? any insight would be very helpfull...thanks to everyone out here who has been so caring and helpfull!!!

My condolences to you and your family. As you can see from comments, drivers are a different breed from the companies themselves. No matter what the company is like, the drivers are a compassionate group.

I'm glad you found this forum and people you can talk to who understand and hope to help. Keep your faith and strength. I'm sorry for the loss you and your family have suffered and the cold, uncaring treatment you have received from the company.
