Was in Stockton over the weekend and three drivers that had the new paccar engines in company trucks cussed them, on would not even go over 35 at first and had to do a delete and reprogram.

Second driver had a egr malfunction on the grapevine, set 4 hours until the hook showed.

Third driver had a regeneration problem, became so hot it blued the cover on the cow whizz burner box.

The lift pump has nothing to do with emissions, its just a small electric pump on the drivers side of the engine that lifts the fuel up onto the main fuel pump wich is mechanical (i believe it works in sync with one of the cams) and once the top fuel pump starts doing its job the bottom one shuts off

I know, I was just stating in general. That's good though you haven't had any problems with the emissions stuff. My prostar has the maxxforce engine and honestly so far its really waken up after I rolled 30,000 miles on her. Getting better MPG too. Only problem I've had is it lugs at low speeds when doing a regen. Other than that I haven't had a problem with any emissions stuff. Although, I don't have DEF to worry about.

i guess the only problems i have had are three parked regeneration's lol

    MPG wise i was getting 4 to 4.5 128k later i'm @ 6 MPG's sometimes when i pull a very light load on a 500 mile round trip i can get up to 6.5 MPG @ 55 m.p.h.

By law they are not allowed to remove any emissions equipment. They face huge fines if they do, pdi and pittsburg power probably make you sign a waiver saying the truck will be used only for off road purposes.
