    This Preemployment Screening Program webinar has limited on-line seating but can be accessed by phone. Slides for phone attendees will be available on-line in the morning. Follow the directions at the above website. The webinar is tomorrow from 1-2pm EST.

    Wow, this will knock a lot of drivers out of work right along with CSA 2010, there is going to be a lot of new drivers out there real soon.

    Yesterday, in conjunction with a webinar about the Pre-employment Screening Program, FMCSA launched a new website for carriers. The PSP is a voluntary program, i.e., carriers are not required to pre-screen potential new hires. The PSP was developed in response to a federal mandate. It is NOT part of CSA 2010. Drivers must authorize release of any information before it can be made available to carriers' HR departments or to the outsourced "hiring agencies" representing carriers.
