    The guys with the gold badges.. I met one at the Dallas yard who was taken out a really nice 379 and placed into a junk, torn up Cascaida. He ended up leaving and flying home. Don't know if he ever quit or not.

    I have tried to do further research on Werner and it appears there were and are many law suits against them. I guess I will certainly pass on the Werner experience and hold onto Gordon's offer and probably apply to Watkins & Shepard as well.

    Good choice;my son may try to talk to watkins Shepard but if Werner dinged his dac he may not be hirable by anyone who uses dac reporting.He is applying to a small OTR company and a local construction company, Machione construction where he would be a laborer/dump driver;also his former GF is getting him an application for Kens Marine Services ,an environmental cleanup co that is owned by her uncle,she works in the office there. Any one of these jobs would pay far more than he ever made at Werners and he would get home every night sleep in his own bed and weekends would be free instead of being stuck at a truck stop some where far from home.

    As I was driving from Los Angeles to Las Vegas today I actually took the time to look at the various companies traveling down the road. With trucks every 200 feet there must be happy drivers out there.
