Pre - Pass at chicken coops?

    Even that depends on what state you are in. Only a couple states require HAZ to enter the scale regardless of what the PrePass sez.

    OD loads have to enter open chicken houses, end of story.

    You had to pay for this in a "company truck"? or was this your truck?

    Company truck. Like I said I had driven without it, but once I got the truck (which had the PP+ in it) I decided it was worth it.
    Now you can see why Covenant is so well featured in the Bad companies section.

    I hear that. I guess that given the option of paying for it at $4 per week, or not having, I would pay the money as well, but I wouldn't like it, LOL.

    The last lease purchase I did was through Prime Inc., and at the time, it cost lease operators 99 cents for every green light. Many complained about that, but for me, the convenience, time saved, and fuel saved was well worth it.

    At Landstar we pay .90 for every green hit up to 3 a day. Over 3 are free.

    That isn't a bad deal at all. For an owner/operator, the savings in fuel combined with the convenience makes it a very worthwhile expense.

    we only pay 8 dollars a month no matter how many we go by. sounds like we are getting a good deal.
