I'm told the Green Lite system in Oregon is able to be linked with Pre Pass but you have to go through a process to have it done. Oregon will provide you a free transponder and all other info...also told it will work with NorPass too so 1 unit will cover the entire country....butttt I haven't verified this info yet so do your own research.

There are a lot of trucks here. I am fortunate enough to bought a truck from a guy that is farming full time, getting out of trucking and was able to keep his regional work for the truck. So I didn't have to go out looking for work

Totally worth it... we get green lights at approx. 90% of the coops with the transponder system. The 10% is either the weigh-master turning the system off thus forcing prepass trucks to come in, or very seldom, a red light just because it was my turn to come in and weigh.

It's only like $14 / mo. and I've come to almost rely on it bypassing me on my regular lanes. If you get the Norpass transponder from Washington (which covers several non-prepass states) first, then you can add prepass to that same unit and save money.

The Midwest is more truck friendly, but the real money has always and will always be in the northeast.

Use it here in Florida and it helps out saving time, been using it 6 months and only pulled for a DOT inspection once.

Priceless tool to save time and money

I'm an I/C with Schneider. I have PrePass for my truck and I bypass most scales. I usually get pulled in if I'm close on legal weight. The coolest thing is you can go the PrePass website and REVIEW EVERY PREPASS TRANSACTION!! It will tell you why you received a red light.
